Our Firm has a 20-year history of zealously representing debtors in consumer bankruptcy cases and consumer law cases. We have three offices, the principal office is located in McAllen, Texas, and the other two offices are located in Harlingen and Austin Texas. Ellen C. Stone

Ellen C. Stone is the owner and shareholder of The Stone Law Firm, P.C., which specializes in consumer and bankruptcy representation, including chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code, as well as IRS representation, litigation, and representation in consumer cases, such as mortgage company/mortgage servicer abuse.

Ellen graduated from law school in 1984 and was admitted to practice in Texas in 1985. She has been involved in representing consumer bankruptcy clients since that time.

Ellen additionally represents clients in cases involving IRS controversies and collection matters, including disputes regarding payment of federal income taxes, payroll taxes, unfiled returns, IRS investigations into filing status, and tax preparer representation in IRS investigations.

Catherine S. Curtis

Catherine S. Curtis has been an  Associate Attorney with The Stone Law Firm, P.C. since August 2010 and currently practices in our Austin, Texas office location.
